DASANI® Flavors is our lineup of lightly sweetened, natural fruit-flavored water beverages available in Lemon and Strawberry.
The DASANI® bottle is 100% recyclable. In fact, during the initial design process we worked cosely with recyclers to optimize every aspect of the DASANI® package for ideal recycling – including the cap, label, inks, and glues .
DASANI® is taking steps to reduce its impact on the planet with our innovative bottle made from up to 30% plants. PlantBottle® packaging is up to 30% sourced from sugarcane by-products from Brazil. Brazilian sugarcane is considered to be an ‘Advanced Renewable Fuel’ by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and is the only first generation biofuel widely recognized by leaders globally for its unique performance. Using up to 30% plant-based materials reduced our reliance on non-renewable resources, lowering our carbon footprint on the planet, which are all great for the environment.
PlantBottle® is recyclable, not biodegradable. We believe that one use is simply. Not enough. PlantBottle® packaging can be recycled multiple times in today’s recycling streams, thereby reclaiming all of the energy and materials that went into the creation of the bottle.
We know the packaging that we place in the market has the potential to become waste and that is why we are working to support the recycling and reuse of our bottles and cans in the best way possible. To us, waste prevention extends beyond simply reducing packaging material. We also focus on optimizing packaging efficiency; increasing renewable material use; recovering packages for reuse; and increasing recycled material use

The Coca-Cola Company is conserving water in a number of ways, including reducing water used to make or beverages, recycling water use in our production process, and supporting projects that replenish water in communities and nature with the World Wildlife Fund. We are working long-term to achieve water neutrality, in other words to safely return to communities and nature an amount of water equivalent to what we use in all of our beverages and their production, all to help ensure a clean, reliable water supply for all generations to come.
